🚨 Rangers Snatch Late Win Over St Mirren as Substitute Miovski Extends Winning Run
Rangers produced another dramatic late victory on Wednesday night as substitute Bojan Miovski scored in stoppage time to secure a 1–0 win over St Mirren at Ibrox. The result extended Rangers’ winning run to four matches and moved Derek McInnes’ side into second place in the Scottish Premiership.
The match appeared destined to end without a goal after Rangers dominated significant portions of the contest but struggled to find a way past an impressive St Mirren defence and goalkeeper Jacob Chapman.

Miovski remained calm when it mattered most. He raced through on goal and, with Chapman rushing from his line, produced a beautifully composed dink over the goalkeeper. The ball sailed into the net in the 91st minute, sending Ibrox into celebration.
For Miovski, the goal was an important reminder of his ability to make an impact even when he is not selected to start. His movement, composure and finishing provided Rangers with the moment they desperately needed.
The victory was also significant for McInnes. Rangers have now won four consecutive league matches, building momentum at an important stage of the campaign. The result lifted them above St Mirren and into second place, although Celtic remain five points clear at the top after maintaining their perfect league record.
St Mirren will be bitterly disappointed. Their goalkeeper produced an outstanding performance, their defence remained disciplined for almost the entire match, and they created the opportunity that could have changed the outcome.
Instead, Rangers found a way to win when it mattered most.
The timing could hardly be more dramatic, with Rangers now preparing for a huge double-header against Celtic. The sides will first meet in the Premier Sports Cup quarter-final before facing each other again in the league at Celtic Park.
After another late victory, confidence will be high at Ibrox. Rangers may not have produced their most convincing performance, but their ability to keep fighting until the final whistle could prove extremely valuable as the season develops.
