The University of Tennessee College of Law has announced a significant transformation, unveiling a new name and expanded mission following a generous $32.5 million donation. This substantial gift, one of the largest in the institution’s history, is set to propel the college into a new era of legal education and community engagement.
The donor, whose identity remains undisclosed, has stipulated that the funds be used to enhance scholarships, support faculty development, and bolster the college’s legal clinics and advocacy programs. In recognition of this transformative contribution, the college will now be known as the Winston College of Law.
Dean Lonnie T.
