Allen Robinson II and Adrian Amos Announce Multi-Million Dollar Endowment for Penn State Football

University Park, PA – In a stunning display of loyalty and legacy, Penn State legends and NFL All-Stars Allen Robinson II and Adrian Amos have announced a joint multi-million dollar endowment to support Penn State men’s football. The endowment, which will focus on youth development, athletic infrastructure, and mentorship programs, is being celebrated as one of the largest alumni-driven gifts in program history.

Both Robinson and Amos made their mark in Happy Valley over a decade ago. Robinson, who earned the title of Mr. Football Penn State in 2011, went on to become one of the top wide receivers in the NFL, dazzling fans with his time in Jacksonville, Chicago, and Pittsburgh. Adrian Amos, a fierce and intelligent safety, brought relentless energy to the Nittany Lions’ defense before establishing himself as a key figure in multiple NFL secondaries, most notably with the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers.

Now, the two have come together not just to give back—but to give forward.

“Penn State molded us into the men we are today,” said Robinson. “This endowment is about more than football. It’s about reaching back, uplifting the next generation, and creating long-term change within a program and community that changed our lives.”

Amos echoed the sentiment, adding, “Our goal is to ensure that young athletes have access to resources, mentorship, and opportunities—both on and off the field. We’re investing in people, not just players.”

The endowment will directly fund leadership development programs, enhanced training facilities, and scholarships targeted toward student-athletes from underrepresented communities. In addition, plans are underway to launch a mentorship pipeline linking current players with former Nittany Lion professionals for guidance on careers, finances, and life after football.

Penn State Head Coach James Franklin praised the announcement, stating, “Allen and Adrian embody what it means to be a Penn Stater. Their commitment to excellence, leadership, and community is a model for all of our players. This gift is transformational.”

As Penn State continues to evolve into a powerhouse both academically and athletically, this endowment stands as a testament to the deep-rooted bond between the university and its greatest ambassadors. The legacies of Robinson and Amos, already etched into the gridiron, are now cemented in the foundation of the future.
