Although they missed a trip to Omaha, the team left fans hopeful and fired up for the future.
As summer turned to fall, anticipation grew for what was to come on the football field, and Miami didn’t disappoint. The Hurricanes welcomed dynamic transfers Damien Martinez and Cam Ward, whose explosive performances lit up the scoreboard under the Hard Rock Stadium lights. Long-time Hurricane Xavier Restrepo also had his moment, catching passes from one of the most talented quarterbacks in Miami history.
While Miami’s football team just missed out on a playoff spot, the season wasn’t without its triumphs.
