Forty-one years have passed since Celtic Football Club lost one of the most influential figures in its proud history — the legendary Jock Stein. What made it even more remarkable was that Stein’s Celtic side was made up entirely of players born within a small area around Glasgow. It was a victory that captured the imagination of football supporters around the world.
But Big Jock’s legacy cannot be measured only by trophies. He understood Celtic’s supporters and the emotional connection they had with the club.
