Arsenal Team News: Expected Line-Up vs Crystal Palace
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta looks set to field a strong yet rotated side as the Gunners prepare to face Crystal Palace. Kepa Arrizabalaga is expected to continue in goal after impressive performances in previous Carabao Cup matches, giving Raya a well-deserved rest.
In defence, Timber is likely to fill in at right-back in the absence of Ben White, while Hincapié provides additional stability at the back. Rotation is expected with either Saliba or Nørgaard featuring to manage workload. Myles Lewis-Skelly is also set to come in for Big Cala to provide some rest.
The midfield could see Merino giving Rice a breather, while Zubimendi retains his spot as long as he remains fit.
Up front, Eze will face his former club and looks to continue his scoring form, while Madueke is expected to start to allow Saka some rest. Gabriel Jesus has returned from injury in fine form and is expected to lead the line alongside Martinelli.
Arsenal’s bench is likely to include Nwaneri, Saka, Salmon, and Nørgaard (if he doesn’t start), offering further options as Arteta looks to manage his squad effectively in this busy period.
