Zac Lomax took home the esteemed Provan-Summons Medal, awarded for embodying the true spirit of rugby league.
During a warm-up prior to the Eels vs Raiders game in Canberra, Zac noticed a young child upset after a junior demonstration match. Without hesitation, he offered words of encouragement and comfort, an act of kindness that touched hearts across the league.
Zac’s on-field impact was just as inspiring, earning him a nomination as a finalist for Winger of the Year. In his debut season with the Blue & Gold, Zac delivered an impressive stat line: 9 tries, 53 goals, and a clutch field goal in a dramatic Round 5 win against his former club, the St George Illawarra Dragons.
The Eels were also well-represented with finalist nominations across multiple categories at the gala event.
Isaiah Iongi, our dynamic fullback and reigning 2025 Rookie of the Year, was a finalist for the Dally M Rookie of the Year award.
In the NRLW, Elsie Albert, our powerhouse prop and proud Papua New Guinean, was recognised as a finalist for both the Veronica White Medal for her incredible community work, and Prop of the Year in the Dally M Team of the Year. She was joined by teammates Abbi Church and Martha Mataele, who earned finalist honours for Fullback of the Year and Winger of the Year, respectively.
The Dally M Awards bring the 2025 season to a close for the Parramatta Eels, and our focus now shifts to the Eels’ involvement in the upcoming Pacific Championships and Ashes Tour.
