In a move that has electrified Spartan Nation, former Michigan State basketball legend and Hall of Famer Shawn Respert is officially returning to East Lansing — this time, on the sidelines. The all-time leading scorer in MSU history is joining Tom Izzo’s coaching staff, marking a powerful homecoming that has fans buzzing with excitement.
Respert, who lit up the court in the early ’90s with unmatched scoring ability and fearless leadership, now brings that same fire and experience back to the program that made him a household name.
