  • Held at the 2025 ESPN Global Cheerleading Invitational in Orlando, Florida, this performance by the Spartan cheerleaders wasn’t just a victory—it was a revolution in motion. Competing against powerhouse squads from nations including Japan, Canada, South Korea, Brazil, and the United Kingdom, the Spartans delivered a dazzling, acrobatic display that didn’t just score a perfect 100—it rewrote the limits of what cheerleading is capable of.
  • For Kaleb Glenn: the journey has shifted, but a medical redshirt will protect his eligibility while he rehabs toward a robust return. For MSU: deficit becomes opportunity—fresh faces get chances, veterans step up, and the path forward remains competitive. For Izzo: once again proving why he’s one of college basketball’s elite coaches—resilience in the face of adversity, and unwavering team-first mentality.
  • Draymond Green’s love for Michigan State runs deeper than accolades and banners. A native of Saginaw, Michigan, Green joined the Spartans in 2008 and played under legendary head coach Tom Izzo. During his four-year college career, he transformed from a slightly overlooked high school recruit into a national force, earning Big Ten Player of the Year honors and leading the Spartans to multiple Final Four appearances.

Pat white Stuns West Virginia with Massive Gift — Donates Two Custom Luxury Buses to WVU Football: “This Is Home, and We Ride Like Champions”…..

A Return to Morgantown with Purpose

Nearly a decade after dazzling stadium crowds with his scrambling magic and quarterback finesse, Pat White returned to Morgantown on a sunlit Saturday morning. He arrived not in a limo or sleek sports car, but aboard one of the two gift buses himself—an orange-and-blue fleet behemoth emblazoned with the slogans “This is Home” and “We Ride Like Champions” on either side. White stepped off to a thunderous standing ovation outside Mountaineer Field, where players, coaches, faculty, alumni, and fans had gathered to witness the big reveal.

“I don’t care what’s in your wallet or how big your contract is,” White told a packed press pool. “What matters is where you start and who you ride for… West Virginia is home. And it’s time our team rode like champions—literally.”

Bus 1: “The Mountaineer Express”

The first bus, dubbed The Mountaineer Express, is a sleek MasterCraft HD edition. Inside, it features premium leather recliners, ambient lighting, plush carpeting, and custom wood trim etched with WVU’s iconic “WV” logo. A lounge-style rear deck includes a flat-screen TV, surround sound, and a mini-fridge complete with Mountaineers branding. Outside, wraparound digital screens announce upcoming departures—“Next stop: National Championship.”

Bus 2: “Gold Rush Mobile”

The second bus, Gold Rush Mobile, offers more of a glamorous VIP treatment. Covered in shimmering gold and navy paint, its interior feels more penthouse than passenger coach—chinaware plates, personal charging docks, mood lighting zones, and even fold‑out workstations for team academics. In one touch of symbolism, an illuminated replica of the center mural from the WVU Coliseum rests proudly by the entrance.

Motivation Rooted in Gratitude

Pat White’s motivation for the dual gift goes deeper than mere bling. “I spent hours on those long bus rides between games, learning to be patient, to bond with teammates, to believe in something bigger than myself. I wanted the next generation to experience that, but with dignity, pride, and a taste of luxury.” White paused as he addressed the crowd: “I want to see Riverton kids, Clendenin kids, Charleston kids—even from the smallest towns—know that home is worth riding for. And that when West Virginia calls, you come strong.”

The Players Respond

Head coach Neal Brown, visibly moved, embraced his former QB and declared, “This is more than a gift. It’s a foundation built on history—a history Pat helped write—and now he’s writing a new chapter for future Mountaineers.” Current quarterback Elijah Dobbs added with a grin, “I can’t wait to fire one of these babies up after a home win. It’s gonna feel like we’ve arrived.”

What This Means for WVU’s Future

With these buses, the Mountaineers can now travel in style on the grueling road grind. From Atlanta to Pittsburgh, Topeka to Tampa, WVU’s rolling mansions ensure players arrive rested, refreshed, and mentally primed to compete. And as the buses cross state lines, they’ll broadcast a simple yet stirring message: West Virginia pride travels far—and rides high.

Looking Ahead

Pat White’s gift arrives at a symbolic moment for WVU football. Years of rebuilding and near misses have yielded flashes of promise but not yet crowned success. Now, with fresh visual momentum and upgraded logistics, the program has thrown down a challenge—to itself and to the nation: We ride like champions; we arrive like champions; we’re ready to be champions.

The unveiling closed with a single, poetic line from White: “This is home. And we ride like champions.” For the Mountaineers, that ride has only begun.
