  • Held at the 2025 ESPN Global Cheerleading Invitational in Orlando, Florida, this performance by the Spartan cheerleaders wasn’t just a victory—it was a revolution in motion. Competing against powerhouse squads from nations including Japan, Canada, South Korea, Brazil, and the United Kingdom, the Spartans delivered a dazzling, acrobatic display that didn’t just score a perfect 100—it rewrote the limits of what cheerleading is capable of.
  • For Kaleb Glenn: the journey has shifted, but a medical redshirt will protect his eligibility while he rehabs toward a robust return. For MSU: deficit becomes opportunity—fresh faces get chances, veterans step up, and the path forward remains competitive. For Izzo: once again proving why he’s one of college basketball’s elite coaches—resilience in the face of adversity, and unwavering team-first mentality.
  • Draymond Green’s love for Michigan State runs deeper than accolades and banners. A native of Saginaw, Michigan, Green joined the Spartans in 2008 and played under legendary head coach Tom Izzo. “WHAT. A. YEAR FOR THE DAWGS”: GEORGIA BULLDOGS BRING HOME FOUR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS, MATCHING LEGENDARY 1999 SEASON IN ATHENS HISTORY

ATHENS, GA — It’s official: 2024-2025 will go down as one of the greatest years in Georgia Bulldogs history. In a jaw-dropping campaign that has stunned fans and rewritten record books, the University of Georgia has secured four national championships across major sports—matching the iconic dominance of the 1999 campaign, when Georgia first captured the nation’s attention as a multi-title powerhouse.

This time, it wasn’t just football. It was a Bulldog Blitz across all fronts.

The crown jewel? Football. Kirby Smart’s squad bulldozed their way to a 15-0 record, defeating Michigan in the College Football Playoff National Championship with a commanding 38-17 win. Led by quarterback Gunner Stockton and a suffocating defense headlined by All-American linebacker Jamal Harris, the Dawgs captured their third title in four years, firmly establishing a dynasty.

But Athens wasn’t done.

Women’s Gymnastics delivered a performance for the ages, winning the NCAA title with an electrifying final rotation that included a perfect 10 from junior sensation Laila Thomas. It marked the program’s first championship since 2009 and reignited the fire in Stegeman Coliseum.

Men’s Tennis, a perennial contender, broke through to capture their 8th national title, led by French phenom Alex Dubois. His five-set thriller in the finals against UCLA sealed a 4-3 victory that had fans in Athens—and Paris—on their feet.

The surprise? Softball. In a stunning underdog run, the Dawgs upset national favorites Oklahoma and Florida State to win the Women’s College World Series, with pitcher Camryn Callahan earning MVP honors after throwing three shutouts in the final stretch.

Across the board, Georgia athletic director Josh Brooks called it “a year for the ages.”

“This is the culmination of vision, grit, and belief. From the weight room to the classroom, our student-athletes delivered. It’s the best year in Georgia athletics history—period.”

Matching the mythical 1999 season (which saw national titles in men’s tennis, women’s gymnastics, equestrian, and men’s golf), the Dawgs have now entered uncharted waters: a 21st-century gold standard of collegiate dominance.

Dawg Nation has spoken—and 2025 belongs to Athens.
