Cortavious Tisaby Reaffirms Commitment to Arizona State for 2026 Season Despite Heavy Interest

Cortavious Tisaby, the massive 6-foot-7, 305-pound offensive tackle out of South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas, has once again made it clear—he’s all in with Arizona State University. The highly touted 2026 prospect initially committed to the Sun Devils on November 24, 2024, and despite mounting interest from powerhouse programs like Oregon, Oklahoma, and Arizona, Tisaby has reaffirmed his dedication to playing in Tempe.

A key anchor on the offensive line for South Oak Cliff, Tisaby has built a reputation as one of the most physically dominant tackles in the 2026 class. His combination of size, agility, and raw strength makes him a nightmare for opposing defensive linemen and a prized target for college recruiters across the country. However, for Tisaby, the decision to stick with ASU goes beyond the football field.

“I believe in what Coach Dillingham is building at Arizona State,” Tisaby said in a recent interview. “It’s more than just football—it’s about family, development, and building a legacy. ASU is where I want to be.”

Arizona State has made a concerted effort in recent years to revamp its recruiting pipeline, especially in Texas, and Tisaby represents one of the biggest wins for the program in that effort. His reaffirmed commitment sends a strong message to the rest of the 2026 recruiting class—and to rival schools hoping to flip elite prospects late in the cycle.

Recruiting analysts believe Tisaby has immediate Power Five potential and could push for playing time early in his college career. His footwork, hand placement, and natural leverage are already advanced, and under ASU’s development program, he’s expected to take his game to another level.

With Tisaby’s unwavering commitment, the Sun Devils secure not only a future star on the offensive line but also a foundational piece for their 2026 recruiting class.
