Catchings has officially joined the Tennessee Women’s Basketball staff as a Special Assistant, marking a triumphant homecoming for one of the program’s most iconic figures.
A Hall of Famer, Olympic gold medalist, WNBA champion, and beloved Lady Vol, Catchings brings with her a legacy of excellence, leadership, and an unshakable passion for the game. Catchings starred at Tennessee from 1997 to 2001 under the legendary Pat Summitt, helping the Lady Vols win a national championship and setting a standard of excellence that future generations would strive to emulate. Known for her work ethic, defensive tenacity, and contagious energy, she went on to have a stellar professional career with the Indiana Fever and became one of the most respected figures in women’s sports.
