Nebraska softball standout Jordy Bahl has etched her name into NCAA history with a groundbreaking performance during the 2025 postseason, becoming the first player in Division I softball to record at least 20 home runs and 20 pitching wins in a single season.
Bahl’s dual-threat prowess has been pivotal in Nebraska’s impressive tournament run. In the Baton Rouge Regional, she delivered a stellar performance both in the circle and at the plate. Pitching 12 innings, Bahl allowed just one run and two hits while striking out 16 batters. Offensively, she went 5-for-5 with four home runs, seven walks, eight RBIs, and seven runs scored.
Her season statistics are equally remarkable. Bahl boasts a .475 batting average with 23 home runs, 69 runs scored, and 66 RBIs. On the mound, she has a 25-6 record, a 1.50 ERA, and 270 strikeouts over 186.1 innings pitched. These achievements have earned her the distinction of being the first player in Big Ten history to be named both Player and Pitcher of the Year in the same season.
