Michael Vick, one of the most electrifying quarterbacks in college football history, has returned to his alma mater, Virginia Tech, as the Director of Quarterback Development. During his tenure at Virginia Tech from 1999 to 2000, Vick amassed over 3,000 passing yards, 1,200 rushing yards, and 36 total touchdowns, leading the team to a 22-2 record. His dynamic playmaking ability revolutionized the quarterback position and left an indelible mark on the program. In recognition of his collegiate achievements, Vick was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2025 .
After a 13-season NFL career, highlighted by four Pro Bowl selections and a Comeback Player of the Year award in 2010, Vick transitioned into coaching and mentoring roles. He served as an offensive coordinator and advisor for the Atlanta Legends of the Alliance of American Football in 2019 and worked as an NFL analyst for Fox Sports. In December 2024, Vick was appointed as the head football coach at Norfolk State University, marking his first head coaching position .
