Patty Gasso Steps Down as Oklahoma Softball Head Coach to Lead Team USA
In a historic move, Patty Gasso has announced her departure from the University of Oklahoma, where she has served as head coach of the Sooners softball team for over three decades. Gasso, a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Hall of Fame inductee, has been appointed as the head coach of the USA Softball Women’s National Team for the 2025–2028 Olympic cycle, including the LA28 Games .(University of Oklahoma)
