Emilia “JoJo” Nworie, a 6-foot-5 forward from Lagos, Nigeria, has emerged as a formidable presence in college basketball. After a standout career at the College of Southern Idaho (CSI), where she earned NJCAA All-America honors, Nworie has committed to Texas Tech University, choosing the Lady Raiders over prominent programs like Alabama and Georgia.
During her tenure at CSI, Nworie showcased exceptional skills, averaging 12.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game. Her remarkable performances included a 21-point, 24-rebound game against the College of Southern Nevada, and a 30-point double-double against Utah State Eastern.
