Head coach Mike Norvell acknowledged the disappointment, vowing significant changes for the offseason. The first step was parting ways with assistant coaches who didn’t meet the program’s high standards. In their place, FSU brought in coaches with proven big-game success, aiming to revitalize the team’s performance.
The results of those efforts are already showing. A top-20 recruiting class for 2025 was secured, and 13 transfers were added to bolster the roster. Florida State isn’t stopping there, with even more transfers on the horizon. In the past week alone, multiple players have visited campus, and the buzz is growing that good news is on the way. One name that seems to be in the mix is Tennessee defensive lineman Jayson Jenkins, who posted nine tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble last season.
