**BYU vs Utah: Which Team Will Watch More of Their NFL Playoff Hopes Crash and Burn This Year?**

The rivalry between BYU and Utah has been fierce for decades, with both schools boasting impressive football histories. But when it comes to producing NFL-caliber talent that makes an impact in the playoffs, the question arises: which school is set to send more players to the postseason this year? Given the unpredictable nature of the NFL, it’s hard to say which team will come out on top. However, one thing is for sure—both programs are hoping for a breakout year as their former players chase the ultimate glory.

Utah’s football program has been gaining momentum in recent years, and several former Utes are shining in the NFL. Players like linebacker Devin Lloyd (Jacksonville Jaguars) and cornerback Clark Phillips III (Atlanta Falcons) are making waves in their respective teams. But even with their impressive rookie performances, it’s hard to ignore the fact that Utah’s draft history isn’t exactly overflowing with playoff-caliber players compared to their rivals, especially in recent seasons. Despite their consistent bowl appearances and conference championships, Utah hasn’t quite cracked the NFL playoff picture the way some might expect.

BYU, on the other hand, has a slightly different approach. While the Cougars don’t send as many players to the NFL each year, the ones who do make it tend to leave a bigger mark. Quarterback Zach Wilson (New York Jets) made headlines as one of the highest draft picks in recent memory for BYU, though his struggles with the Jets have yet to result in playoff appearances. However, players like Fred Warner (San Francisco 49ers) and Taysom Hill (New Orleans Saints) are shining on the field, and Warner, in particular, has established himself as one of the league’s top linebackers with a solid chance of leading the 49ers into the postseason.

So, which team will have more players in the NFL playoffs this year? The answer is still up for debate, but one thing is clear: both BYU and Utah will be nervously watching their former players, hoping that this year, it’s their former stars who shine brightest in the postseason spotlight. Whether it’s Utah’s newer stars or BYU’s veterans, one thing is certain—both schools are hungry for more playoff representation, and they’ll be eagerly watching to see if their former players can avoid the dreaded playoff “crash and burn” this season.
