FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Arkansas Razorbacks are making a strong push for one of the top wide receiver prospects in the class of 2025, 4-star Cameron Sparks. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound dynamo is set to announce his college commitment on January 11 during the prestigious Navy All-American Game, with the Razorbacks, Mississippi State, and Virginia Tech in the running.
Sparks, a senior at Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, has garnered attention from 21 major programs, including Auburn, Colorado, Georgia, Florida State, and Tennessee. Despite narrowing his options, Arkansas is making a compelling case after hosting Sparks during their thrilling Oct. 19 matchup against LSU.
Originally listing Miami, Tennessee, Auburn, Florida State, Michigan, and Georgia in his top-six, Sparks is now down to just three. Ranked No. 389 overall nationally and No. 11 in Tennessee, he’s one of the most coveted uncommitted prospects remaining.
What makes Arkansas a standout? Under first-year offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino, the Razorbacks’ offense soared to new heights this season, averaging 456 yards per game (No. 10 nationally). The Razorbacks boasted one of the most explosive offenses in the country, ranking No. 2 in plays over 10 yards and No. 14 in plays over 20 yards—factors that could make the difference in Sparks’ decision.
