Clemson is about to get a huge boost as one of their most coveted offensive line targets, 4-star Carter Scruggs, is returning to campus this month. The dynamic talent from Leesburg, VA, will be attending the highly anticipated Elite Retreat on January 25.
Scruggs first caught the Tigers’ eye during an impressive camp performance in June, securing his offer. He followed up with a visit in September, witnessing Clemson’s dominant victory over App State.
Why does Scruggs have Clemson on his radar? “Culture matters,” he says. “I want to develop into an NFL offensive lineman, get drafted in the first round, and balance big-time football with a top-notch education. A solid coaching staff and great relationships are key for me.”
Joining Scruggs at the Elite Retreat are other elite recruits, including 4-star in-state talents Zyon Guiles and Desmond Green, plus top prospects Leo Delnaey and Grant Wise.
With Scruggs ranking No. 122 overall and No. 8 among interior offensive linemen in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, this event is shaping up to be a game-changer for Clemson’s recruiting class. Don’t miss out on what could be the start of something massive!
