After wrapping up his remarkable college career with a standout performance in the Alamo Bowl, Hunter has officially signed with Lil Wayne’s Young Money APAA Sports Agency as he heads into the NFL draft.
Breaking news from Front Office Sports reveals that Hunter chose Young Money over several high-profile agencies, including WME, CAA, Klutch Sports, and Athletes First. This deal marks a major milestone in Hunter’s career, with Young Money set to represent him on-field and handle his contracts moving forward.
While Young Money will take the reins for his on-field representation, Hunter will continue his partnership with SMAC Entertainment for off-field deals, the same agency that helped him land significant NIL opportunities during his time at Colorado. SMAC also works closely with Coach Deion Sanders and his son, Shedeur.
The connection between Hunter and Lil Wayne was made clear when they appeared together at the 2024 Heisman Trophy ceremony, an event that seemed to foreshadow this signing. Young Money also represents Hunter’s former Jackson State teammate, Isaiah Bolden, now with the New England Patriots.
