KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Big news for Tennessee football fans! After a standout debut season on Rocky Top, senior tight end Miles Kitselman is coming back for the 2025 season, he confirmed on Monday.
Thanks to a recent waiver from the NCAA Division I Board of Directors, athletes who previously competed at non-NCAA schools are granted an additional year of eligibility, extending their careers into 2025-26. This includes Kitselman, who’s already proven to be a game-changer on the field.
Before joining the Vols, Kitselman spent the 2021 season at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas and played for Alabama in 2022 and 2023. In 2024, the Lyndon, Kansas native made an immediate impact with his impressive combination of pass-catching skills and powerful blocking.
In just one season, Kitselman recorded 22 receptions for 301 yards and four touchdown catches. He even added a rushing touchdown against Georgia. His four receiving touchdowns ranked fourth among SEC tight ends, and his five total touchdowns tied for third in the league for his position. Kitselman’s contributions were key in helping the Vols secure their first-ever College Football Playoff berth with a remarkable 10-win season.
