While many ranked teams stumbled—most notably South Carolina’s upset over Texas A&M and Iowa State’s first loss—Tennessee emerged victorious, improving to 7-1 on the season.
Despite trailing Kentucky 10-7 at halftime, the Volunteers roared back in the second half, ultimately winning 28-18. Running back Dylan Sampson shone bright, setting a new program record for most rushing touchdowns in a single season, solidifying his role as a key player in Tennessee’s success this year.
