In a fiery viral clip from the Sacramento Kings, De’Aaron Fox and Malik Monk took shots at their rivals while signing jerseys and posters.
Among the mix were logos of their competitors, leading to some hilarious reactions.
When Fox stumbled upon the North Carolina Tar Heels logo, he wasted no time tearing it to shreds. Teammate Keegan Murray chimed in, noting, “I had North Carolina winning that game.” To which Monk fired back, “Where are all those guys now?” A savage comeback, especially considering Kentucky dominates the league with 29 players compared to North Carolina’s measly six.
Monk also encountered the Louisville logo, initially baffled as he thought the marketing team had mistaken his alma mater. “I ain’t signing this! F*%$ Louisville, I went to Kentucky,” he exclaimed, before bursting into laughter at the mix-up.
While other Kings players joined in, Fox and Monk’s banter stole the show. It’s clear they’re proudly representing the blue and white in the NBA, and Kentucky fans are loving every second of it.
With the Kings looking to elevate their game after finishing ninth in the Western Conference last season, the addition of DeMar DeRozan could be a game changer. Fox ranks as one of the top Kentucky players in the league, currently sitting 9th in power rankings, while Monk isn’t far behind at 12th. As they find their groove, expect both to rise even higher.
